New Playground Equipment

New Playground Equipment

Abbott Park

In December 2025 Friends of Winterport Rec acquired new-to-us playground equipment and gifted it to the town for use at Abbott Park. 

Construction begins in Fall 2026. We will be fundraising in the meantime to help offset the costs of installation and to reimburse the volunteers who provided upfront financial assistance, enabling us to purchase the equipment when it was offered at a very generous discount.

Rocky Knoll Country Club

Tee up for a great cause! Join us at Rocky Knoll Country Club in Orrington for a fun and friendly golf scramble supporting recreational programs in Winterport. Whether you’re playing for bragging rights or just enjoying a day on the course with friends, your participation helps strengthen community activities and create more opportunities for people of all ages. 

Try your luck at one of our tournament contests:
  •     Longest Drive 
  •     Closest to the Pin
  •     Putting Contest

Costs:
  •   $400 per 4 player team
  •   $100 per individual
